NEW SONG: "WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH KANSAS?"
At my MySpace music site (myspace.com/brendangetzell) you can now listen to a live performance of a new song of mine, "What's the Matter With Kansas?", from a recent appearance on KCSB. Yes, the song is based loosely on the Thomas Frank book of the same name. Also, keep in mind that this was recorded at 5 in the morning and I was on zero sleep, hence some slight guitar-flubbage at the beginning.
Enjoy the left-wing vitriol! Oh, and I say "gulag" in the song. You're just gonna have to deal with that. (:
